About Me
During my communications career I have worked with some of the top agencies and companies in the world. Starting as an intern and progressing to Vice President at Fleishman-Hillard I worked across industries and offices to help technology, consumer, biotech and non-profit clients achieve outstanding results. From launching the first smartphone with
Kyocera Wireless to guiding Bumble Bee Foods through a national recall I have worked closely with clients to develop strategic plans and then implement those plans to achieve desired results.
I am also deeply entrenched in the technology industry, working with companies like Autodesk, Sun Microsystems, QAD and Sterling Commerce, a division of IBM. I have helped these clients, and more, take their often complex products and strategies and translate them into case studies, white papers and bylines that consumers and media can understand. I was fortunate enough to work with Sterling Commerce as they stepped into the area of social media, launching their Twitter feed and developing their online press room. After Fleishman-Hillard I spent time at Text 100 were I led the launch of IBM's "Smarter Commerce" concept. The idea was launched with great fanfare garnering over 1 million impressions and headlines in the top business and daily publications.
The work that my teams and I have done has been recognized with multiple awards. I have won numerous local PRSA awards as well as national awards for my crisis work including a Silver Anvil and a PR Week Award.
As an experienced communications consultant I'm always ready for the next challenge. Contact me today to discuss your public relations and communications needs - jamie at leicht.org or via the Contact page
